... before I'm off to Birmingham. I've got my schedule ready; I'll be taking Sociology, Microeconomics, Music Appreciation, Business 101, Business Calculus, and, as I noted a few weeks ago, Aikido. I'm really excited to be taking classes of my own choosing--within the parameters of UAB's core curriculum, of course. I've got a really good feeling about adjusting, and my hours are great (I don't start my day until 9, and I'll end my academic day at 1). I've already CLEP'd English Comp. 101 and 102, so I can begin my English classes with literature next semester. Can I get a hoo-ha-no-remedial-grammar!? I've also already been accepted as a volunteer writer for the Kaleidoscope, the UAB student newspaper. I hate having to leave this area, but I know that those around me now will keep me in their hearts, as I will keep them in mine.
God has really blessed me in a huge way,
J. Sutton
